In ‘General Settings’ -> Site Title: if you enter something there it will show up in the header such as here: TerasPass.com

If you leave it blank though, the browser window will show it as all lowercase and ugly looking. Is there a way to have it show up good at the top of the browser without it being in the header?

I have a photoblog in which I post several photos per post. Problem is that I want just the first image of the post to show on the main page and the rest of the images to show on the post. When I change the Index page/Archives show to “Excerpt”, it shows the first paragraph and no image. Anyway to change it so I have the first image and paragraph shown for the post?

Hi thanks for the great theme.

For some reason whne I click home button or the header it redirects me to another page of the website that is not the home page. Or even if i type the address in the bar it still redirect to the same page.

Any clues

My arclite wordpress theme is great but has the following annoying problem.
The navigation buttons are white and drop down for further selections. The black lettered drop down selections turn white when hovered over and totally disappear to the reader. A simple click on the disappearing selection does engage the click but it looks bad. Any ideas on how to change the hover over the drop down box so the title doesn’t fade out?

Appreciate any help!

Hello,

1) How I can activate the “user defined color” and “user defined image (upload)” for header background?
2) “Logo image – Can’t upload! Directory is not writable! Change write permissions with CHMOD 755 or 777″

Which directory or file i must change for the permissions?

How can I remove websnapr previews? They don’t work.
I removed the code in jquery.arclite.js but they are still there :-/

I am trying to find a help page regarding categories and sub-categories in the arclite theme showing on my side bar. I have made some sub-categories but they show up as regular categories on my menu which I do not want. Also when I click on the parent category it goes to the the archive for pages in this category and all the sub-categories which I do not want it to do.

Is there anywhere that I can read up on how to solve this?

I can’t see the dropdowns in ie6. Dropdowns do display in IE7, though. Woudl appreciate any insight into how to make the dropdowns work in IE6…

The secondary dropdowns in the main navigation are not displaying in IE6. Is this theme tested with IE6 for WP 3.1.2? The demo that launches from the WP website does display the second level navs in IE6, but they behave differently, by moving upward upon opening, not sliding downward. Would appreciate any clarification – thx.
